ND Lax Wins Season Opener vs. Proctor

The Notre Dame boys lacrosse team opened its second varsity season with a victory on Tuesday, beating varsity rookie Proctor on the road 7-4.

Playing in a strong, steady wind and gusting rain, Proctor took a 3-1 lead after the 1st quarter, but Notre Dame tied it 3-3 at the half. In the 3rd, the Jugglers went ahead 4-3 and the Raiders tied it 4-4, then Notre Dame put the game away with three goals in the 4th. Brad Jones, Tom Giglio and Jake Angrisano all scored two goals apiece.

Notre Dame is now 1-0; Proctor falls to 0-2.
