On a sunny Saturday afternoon, the New Hartford baseball team's offense shined even brighter, smacking the daylights out of visiting Salmon River 19-2.

Chandler Evans was the Spartans' main catalyst, reaching base six times by going 3-for-3 with three walks, scoring four runs and driving in two. Mike Doyle went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored, and Zach Smith threw five innings for the win, giving up one run on four hits and striking out four.

New Hartford remains undefeated at 9-0.
