Locals Shine at NH Boys Track & Field Invitational

Sports WKTV

The weather did not cooperate for the 55th Annual New Hartford Boys Track & Field Invitational on Friday, with cold, rain, and wind making for poor conditions. But that didn't stop Clinton senior Tom Wagner, who shattered his own meet record in the triple jump with a mark of 47 feet, 5 and three-quarters inches, breaking his old mark set last year by nearly 10 inches (46'6").

Other local winners included Oneida's Patrick McLaughlin winning the 110 meter hurdles and Whitesboro's Leonard Joseph winning the discus throw.
