New Hartford Post remains unbeaten tonight with a 5-3 win over Love Post on Friday night. Tyler Porter picked up his first career legion victory on the mound. He went 5 1/3 innings giving up one earned run and striking out six. Eric Verbickas came on in relief to close the door and pick up the save striking out three batters. New Hartford was led on offense by Joe Carcone who went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Mike Matt had a 2 run single and scored a run for New Hartford as well.

Harry Campbell pitched well for Love Post. He struck out 4 in the complete game. Mike Cobb led off the game with a solo homerun for Love in the loss.

Next up for New Hartford Post is a game Monday night at Corr Field against undefeated Smith Post. Game time is 6pm
