Whitesboro Field Hockey Opens League Play With A Win

Whitesboro, N.Y. - The Whitesboro Lady Warriors began Tri-Valley league play with a 2-0 win over Clinton on Wednesday. Michelle Ruskey score the Whitesboro's first goal early in the first half to give her team the early 1-0 lead. It stayed that way until midway through the second half when Jaclyn McLaughlin tallied to make it 2-0. Marissa Vomer notched the shutout in goal. Whitesboro improves to 1-1 on the season while Clinton drops to 0-1.
