Frankfort Improves To 4-1 With The 22-3 Win Over Sauquoit
SAUQUOIT, NY (WKTV) - Frankfort-Schuyler topped Sauquoit 22-3 on Friday night. This was the Maroon Knights game from start to finish. Ron Gatto started the scoring on a four yard run to make it 6-0. Gatto was solid going 8-13 86 yards and two scores both to Jim Swienton. The first touchdown pass was 14 yards in the first half which with the two point conversion made it 14-0 Frankfort at the half. They would connect again for an 18 yard score in the second half. As usual, the Knights pounded it out on the ground getting 118 yards from Jamie Barr and 102 yards from Jordan Lints. Frankfort held Sauquoit to just under 100 yards rushing. Frankfort improves to 4-1, 3-1 in the league. Sauquoit drops to 0-5.
