FRANKFORT, NY (WKTV) - The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights topped Cooperstown 28-20 on Friday night. The win improves the Knights record to 5-1, 4-1 in the Class C East. Frankfort came back, Gatto connected on a 4th down play to Dylan Todd for touchdown to give the Knight another cushion lead. Again, Cooperstown battled back. AJ Alton made it 22-13 on a three yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter. The Redskins then tried to capitalize on a Frankfort fumble but three straight tries from the five yard line resulted in no gain. Cooperstown attempted a field goal which was no good.
