Proctor gets must-win vs. Fayetteville-Manlius

By BRIAN SANDLER

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Brad Jones threw four touchdown passes to help keep Proctor's playoff hopes alive on Friday with a 40-28 win over Fayetteville-Manlius.

The victory ties Proctor with F-M and West Genesee for the fourth and final playoff berth in Class AA-2 at 1-3 with one week left, but the Raiders are behind West Genesee due to losing the head-to-head matchup.  So Proctor needs to beat third-place Henninger (2-2 league) and have West Genesee lose to F-M to make the playoffs.

Jones finished 10-of-16 passing for 175 yards.  Richard Pete carried eight times for 176 yards and two touchdowns and Will Hawkins reeled in five catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns and also carried 13 times for 74 yards.

Both teams are 2-4 overall.
