Holland Patent Cross Country wins first-ever state championship

HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Holland Patent Cross County team won their first-even State Championship Saturday.

The team scored 40 points at their championship help at SUNY Plattsburgh.

The Racha twins, who were Friday night's Athletes of the Week on NEWSChannel 2, were a big part of Saturday's victory. Dylan finished in third place while Cody finished in fifth place.

Robert Baird finished in seventh place.
