Spartan Hockey alums square off in exhibition

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The two championship Hockey teams from New Hartford High School squared off Sunday afternoon, with proceeds going to the Cheryl Rettig Scholarship Fund. 

The 1997 and 2009 teams played two separate 25 minute halves, with the 2009 team winning the first 7-1, and the second ending in a 4-4 tie. 

Michael Zalewski, a New Hartford senior and alternate captain from the '09 squad, had a hat trick in the first half.
