Lady Warriors score one over rival SpartansNEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Tri-Valley East leader Whitesboro picked up a huge league victory Friday night, 56-40 at rival New Hartford. The Lady Warriors (12-2 TVL, 15-3 overall) spoiled Senior Night for the Lady Spartans, who fell to 11-7 on the season, 7-7 in the league. It was a low scoring affair in the first half, with Whitesboro on top 19-18 at the break. But the Lady Warriors broke out in the third quarter, taking a 39-26 lead at the end of the third quarter. Whitesboro was led by their own Big Three, Allie Cady (22 points), Francesca Cotrupe (20 points) and Jennifer Deuel (11 points). |
