Warriors season ends with upset loss

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro boys basketball team had been riding a hot streak into postseason play, but Nottingham iced the Warriors season, winning 50-42 Friday night at the Warrior Dome in the Section III Class A Quarterfinals.  Jawan Simmons had 16 points to lead the way for Nottingham, who now advances to the semifinals, to play Bishop Ludden.  Cameron Issac added 14.

Whitesboro, who trailed 26-16 at halftime, but came back to pull within four at the end of the third quarter, were led by Mike Ryan's 14 points.
