Abraham suspended one week

UTICA, N.Y. - Notre Dame head football coach Byron Abraham has been suspended for a week by the school.  The suspension was reported by Abraham to NEWSChannel 2 Monday and confirmed by the administration.

While the school could not comment on what is a personnel issue, Abraham stated the suspension is a result of his failure to play four players who missed all practices last week due to their participation in an ROTC event.

The Jugglers beat Clinton 46-14 on Saturday.

Abraham will not coach the team's practices all this week or the Jugglers' game this Friday night at Class C East leading Sherburne-Earlville.
