NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - On a beautiful Monday afternoon at Don Edick Field, the Whitesboro boys lacrosse team beat rival New Hartford 6-5 in double overtime.  Nate Farrell scored the game winner for the Warriors (4-4).

Ted Olney had four goals for Whitesboro, while Pat Husnay saved six shots in the net.

Nick Cooke scored two goals for the Spartans, who came back from a 5-2 deficit in the third quarter, to tie it late in the fourth and force extra time.  Joe Ondrako added four assists, while Mike Cuchiarale had seven saves.

The Spartans (3-6) will next host Homer, on Thursday.
