By MIKE LEVIN

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Frankfort-Schuyler softball team upended powerhouse Cooperstown Tuesday in CSC-II action.  Hawkeye pitcher Maria Noto threw three wild pitches in the first inning, giving up three runs.

The Maroon Knights had two of their four hits in the game in that first inning, also drawing a pair of walks.

Despite her rocky start, Noto still went the distance, striking out eight batters.

With the loss, Cooperstown drops to 10-2 on the season, 5-2 in the CSC-II.  Frankfort's win improves their overall record to 3-6, with a 2-4 league record.
