Harrison's monster year continues as Westmo wins

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Tim Harrison continued his incredible 2013 season Saturday, rushing for 183 yards and five touchdowns as Westmoreland beat NY Mills 63-34 at Ben Ross Field.  Harrison now has 784 total yards this season and 15 touchdowns.

In Saturday's game, Harrison scored a 29 yard TD in the first quarter, then picked up two in the second, from 43 and 10 yards.  In the third he picked up an 11 yarder, followed by his final score, from 45 yards out in the fourth.

The Bulldogs went up 23-0 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.  QB Tyler Deveans got the Dawgs started, with a two yard TD.  Rob Heitzmann capped off the quarter with a 24 yard interception return of Zach Griffith.  Heitzmann also rushed ten times for 94 yards.

Griffith, like Harrison, a former Sports Express Athlete of the Week, threw for 226 yards and three TDs, but also was picked off three times.

Westmo improves to 3-1 on the season, while Mills fell to 2-2.
