ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Kost Complex in Rome played host to two big high school softball section playoff games, with Little Falls winning the C-1 title and Hamilton advancing back to the D final.

The Lady Mounties rolled to a 13-0 victory over Sauquoit Valley, with Hannah Becker driving in four runs on four hits.  Little Falls had seventeen hits on the game, while Amy Hart pitched a two hit shutout.  The Mounties will play in the Class C Crossover game Tuesday at 7 p.m. from Gillette Road Park in Cicero against C-2 champ Sandy Creek, who beat West Canada Valley 10-4 Thursday.

In the Class D semifinal, Becca Rogers struck out eighteen Redskins for Hamilton.  Jordan Sahl also pitched a complete game, striking out seven.  All five runs surrendered by Oriskany were unearned.  The Lady Emerald Knights are hoping to win their fourth straight section title when they meet Copenhagen Tuesday at 7 p.m., at the same time as the C Crossover from Gillette Road Park.
