Spartans pull off huge upset of Proctor


NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford boys basketball team shocked the Mohawk Valley Friday night, beating the mighty Proctor Raiders 58-46.  Tom Clifford scored 22 points on five three pointers as the Spartans jumped out to a 27-21 halftime lead and just kept going.

Jared Henderson added 14 points for New Hartford, who improved to 5-1 on the season.  The Spartans hit twelve three point shots.

Proctor (1-2) was led by Naronn Harvey and Kerion Barton, who each scored ten.
