By JASON POWLES

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - For the first time since 2006, the Proctor Raiders will likely make the playoffs after the 40-26 win over West Genny on Friday.

The Raiders, 4-1 overall, 3-1 in the league, got a huge game from running back Richard Pete. He rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass for 47 yards. Pete got the scoring started for Proctor in a 17 yard run on the first drive of the game. After the Wildcats fumbled on the next possession, Pete scored on a 28 yard run and Proctor led 14-0.

West Genny would then score 20 unanswered points before Pete gave them the lead for good on the 47 yard catch. Proctor was up 21-20 at the half and never looked back. Jordan Treen threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns with just one interception. Walkery Mills had five catches for 125 yards and a touchdown as well.
