RFA, CNS tie in division showdown

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The RFA hockey team tied with C-NS 2-2 Wednesday night in a game between the top two division one hockey teams in the state.  RFA, the #2 ranked team in the state, beat C-NS, the #1 ranked team, earlier in the season, but C-NS had a better record overall.

The North Stars took an early 1-0 lead in the first period, but the Black Knights tied it less than three minutes later, then went ahead in the second.  But C-NS would tie the score and send it to overtime, where neither team found the back of the net.

RFA is now 16-2-1 on the season and finishes their regular season Friday night at F-M.
