RFA pulls out big TVL win at Whitesboro

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The RFA boys basketball team picked up a huge early season win in their first Tri-Valley League game, winning 52-45 at Whitesboro Friday night.  The Warriors led 14-13 at the end of the first quarter and 28-27 at the half, but were outscored 25-17 the rest of the way.

Jeff Cooke led all scorers, with 21 points, while Spencer Kahler added 13 and Angus Evans had 11.  RFA is now 2-2 on the season.

Whitesboro, who fell to 2-2 on the season and 0-2 in the TVL, was led by Luke Moore's 13 points.  The Warriors will be back in action Tuesday night at Notre Dame.
