ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Mike King

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - This week's Athlete of the Week is Mike King from Notre Dame High School.

The Jugglers senior took first place in the single division with a total score of 679, that included nine strikes in a row during his second game. As a result, Notre Dame went on to finish third overall in the Tri-valley League Tournament, what a way to end his senior season.

King says, "I started to feel the shot, I found the line, they started cheering for me, I had my friends and family cheering me on, I was pumped I was into it. It was a big day, it was my last singles match and I just really enjoyed it."

The head coach, Tom Knapp said, "Mike's very deserving of this award, he's a great team leader, he's done a great job this year, we're pleased to have him."
