ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Anthony Acevedo, New Hartford

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - This weeks Athlete of the Week is Anthony Acevedo from New Hartford. The Spartans senior rushed 21 times for 231 yards and five touchdowns in a 47-26 win over Carthage.  As a result, New Hartford improved to 3-0.

"He's just starting to mature as an athlete." said head coach Bob Jones. "He's just got great speed, a very instinctive runner, cuts back well, just a tough competitor."
