NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - This week's Athlete of the Week is Matt Welch from NY Mills boys basketball.
The Marauders senior scored his 1,000th career point, the 11th player in Mills history to do so, and totalled 37 points and 29 rebounds in two games last week. Matt has been a mainstay for NY Mills over the last few years and was a key player in the team's state championship last season.
