ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The RFA Black Knights came back from a four run deficit to beat Proctor 7-6 on opening day for both teams at DeLutis Field on Thursday.

Rome took a 1-0 lead on an infield error. Errors and walks were the norm in this game. Only seven hits between the two teams, five for the Raiders and two for the Black Knights. An error and a bases loaded walk gave Proctor a 2-1 lead in the second inning.

Proctor took a 5-1 lead into the fifth. However, that's when RFA took advantage. They scored three in the 5th and three in the 6th inning to take the 7-6 lead en route to the victory.

Proctor, the two-time defending Section III Class AA champs, drop to 0-1. RFA is now 1-0.
