Whitesboro falls in state semis

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors fell to Pittsford-Sutherland 5-1 in the Class A State Semifinals at Union Endicott High School on Saturday.

The game was marred by bad weather with two separate rain delays totaling over two hours. The Warriors scored their only run in the first inning. Brendan Heitz had two hits for Whitesboro. They finish their outstanding season 18-8.

Zack Salvio hit a three run home run off Ryan Watson to give the Knights the lead for good in the third.  P-S added a pair of runs in the fourth, on RBI hits by Nick Flemister and Brad Kascka.
