Treen, Raiders shut out Spartans

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - On day one of the STOP DWI High School Baseball Classic, Proctor blanked New Hartford 4-0.  Jordan Treen pitched a complete game shut out, with seven strikeouts for the Raiders.

The game was scoreless until the fourth inning, when Elan Scott hit an RBI single scoring Mike Krecildo.  Two batters later, Josh True hit a two run single scoring Scott and Matt Haddad.

In the fifth inning, Treen helped himself, driving in Connor Roth on an RBI single.

In the first game of the day, Clinton beat V-V-S 3-2 on a walk-off.

There are three more games Saturday, beginning with Holland Patent vs. Westmoreland at 11 a.m., Whitesboro vs. RFA at 2 p.m. and Oriskany vs. Poland at 5 p.m.
