Hawks Fall To Vikings In OTUTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks just ran out of time. After forcing overtime, they fell to Otselic Valley 67-62 on Friday night at Proctor high school. In a very close game throughout, the Hawks, down two with under 10 seconds in regulation got the game tying shot from Terry Randall. The in the OT, right off the tip, Mo Conte was able to find Randall for two more of his 15 points and the Hawks looked to be in business. However, Conte, who led the Hawks in scoring with 21 points, fouled out of the game. That opened the door for the Vikings and senior guard David Cerasani. He made a couple of great drives down the stretch. He led all scorers with 24 points. Oppenheim finishes the season 18-4. Otselic Valley will now face NY Mills on Saturday, March 7th at 12:45pm at Manley Field House for the Class D-2 Final. |
