Whitesboro tops Ilion

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro Warriors started the season off a good note by beating Ilion 53-44 on Friday night. Mike Bunal led all scorers with 18 points.

Ilion took and early lead but Whitesboro went on an 11-2 run in the first quarter. They then outscored the Bombers 19-13 in the second quarter to lead 33-23 at the break.

Luke Moore added 13 for Whitesboro, who improves to 1-0. Ilion, now 0-1, got 12 points from Brandon Harrigan and 11 points from Pat Bergen in the loss.
