Raiders hang on for win at Notre Dame

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - In their first meeting since 2003, the Proctor boys basketball team beat Notre Dame 65-62 Friday night at Walsh Gymnasium. 

The Raiders are now a part of the Tri-Valley League and are undefeated so far, at 5-0, and 7-2 overall.  Notre Dame is 9-2 this season, 4-1 in the TVL.

Proctor took two different 12 point leads in the second quarter of Friday's game, but the Jugglers came back both times, pulling within five, 32-27, at halftime.

Joe Sullivan, an ex-Raider, led all scorers with 21, while Jerome Brabham added 11 and Kevin Warmack 10 for Notre Dame.

Tyvon Reed led Proctor with 19 points, while J'Von Evans added 18.  The Raiders will be back in action Tuesday at home against Clinton, while Notre Dame hosts New Hartford that same day.
