Warriors fall to Indians 69-50

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Clinton boys basketball team (0-1) was at home hosting West Canada Valley (1-0), Friday night.

It was another tough one to take for the Warriors as West Canada took control of the game in the second quarter, building on an early lead to take it into halftime up 33-18.

In the second half, the Indians maintained their momentum adding onto their lead even more on the road behind senior Jordan Yaworski, who had 17 points on the night.

The bright spot for the Warriors was the play of senior Danny Bankert, who led the ream with 18 points in front of the home crowd.

For the Maroon & White, the 69-50 final was difficult as they now fall to 0-2 on the season, while West Canada Valley improves to 2-0.

Both teams are back in action on December 10th, as Clinton will travel to Sherburne-Earlville and West Canada Valley will head into Herkimer to face the Magicians.
