NEW YORK MILLS, NY (WKTV) - Cassandra Izzo scored 1:47 into overtime Wednesday to give Little Falls field hockey a 2-1 win at New York Mills in a rematch of last year's Section III, Class D final.

Despite the score, Little Falls dominated the game with 18 shots on goal and 22 penalty corners to just five and four, respectively, for New York Mills.  The Lady Marauders stayed in the game thanks to spectacular goalie play by Victoria Swider, who finished with 16 saves, but Izzo was able to get a close-range shot to trickle in just past Swider's diving stick for the game-winner off an assist by Karlee Kotary.

Little Falls is now 4-0 overall while New York Mills drops to 1-1-1.

Little Falls, which won last year's sectional finals matchup 4-2, led 1-0 at halftime on an Emily Lorenzoni goal and New York Mills tied it early in the second half on a score by Adriana Suprenant.  Lady Mounties goalie Nickie Van Meter had with four saves.
