Field Hockey:Little Falls eliminates Canastota

SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Little Falls Lady Mounties have moved on to the sectional semifinals with the 5-1 win over Canastota on Tuesday.

Jenna Becker had a big hand in the win. She scored two goals and added two assists. Little Falls led 1-0 at the half then 2-0 after Becker's first goal of the night.  Canastota cut the lead to 2-1 on a goal by Josie Sgarlata.

Little Falls then answered with three unanswered goals to seal the deal. The Lady Mounties will next face local rival Mt. Markham in the semifinals on Saturday, 11am at Sauquoit Valley
