Field Hockey:New York Mills blanks Sauquoit Valley

SAUQUOIT VALLEY, N.Y. (WKTV) - After a scoreless first half, the NY Mills Marauders netted two late goals to beat Sauquoit Valley 2-0 on Monday night.

Savanah Dietz scored with about five minutes left in regulation and Carly Dziekan added an insurance goal two minutes later to seal the deal. Sauquoit goalie Jessica Jecko stopped 15 shots in the loss.

NY Mills improved to 5-1 overall, 4-0 in the league. Sauquoit drops to 1-3 overall, 1-3 in the league.
