Oneida Punishes Holland Patent


ONEIDA, NY (WKTV) - Oneida continued its 2008 domination on Friday, blowing by Holland Patent in the league-play opener for both teams 45-13.

Oneida quarterback Ryan Kramer threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns in the Indians' latest romp, which followed a 47-13 win over Ithaca and a 50-7 win over Westhill.  Oneida led 21-0 before Holland Patent got on the board with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Mann to Steven Falk, but the Indians increased their lead to 28-7 at halftime and never looked back.

Rick Rossi, Joe McCormick and Jesse Christian each scored a rushing touchdown for Oneida while Christian also caught a score and Brandon Miles caught two touchdown passes.  Falk scored the Golden Knights' other touchdown on a 1-yard run in the third quarter.

Oneida is now 1-0 in Class A National and 3-0 overall; Holland Patent is 0-1 (1-2).
