Oneida Slams Solvay

ONEIDA, NY (WKTV) - Oneida rebounded quite nicely from its first loss of the season on Friday, punishing Solvay 46-0 in the opening quarterfinal round of the Section III, Class B playoffs.

Oneida, the top seed, was once again led by quarterback Ryan Kramer.  The senior completed 10 of 15 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for another touchdown, and also threw three 2-point conversions and ran for another.

The Indians, now 7-1 and ranked No. 20 in the state in Class B, advance to face No. 5-seed Chittenango, which beat No. 4 Marcellus 20-7, in the semifinals at a site, date, and time to be determined on Sunday.

Solvay is 2-6.
