UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Notre Dame showed its Class D East title was no fluke on Saturday, romping in its Section III, Class D Southeast Conference Quarterfinal 42-0 over Oriskany.

Playing at Proctor's D'Alessandro Stadium because its own field was too beat up from other sports during the week, Notre Dame (6-1 overall, ranked No. 13 in the state in Class D) looked right at home, which should come in handy as it will play there again next Saturday against Waterville (5-2) in the semifinals.  Kickoff is set for 2:00.

Tom Appleton was 11-of-19 passing for 215 yards and three touchdowns while Colin Hulser carried 10 times for 98 yards and a touchdown, Tom Giglio ran 10 times for 93 yards and Mike Gaglianese--who previously played at Oriskany before jumping to the Jugglers over the summer--also carred 10 times for 77 yards and caught four passes for 72.

Sean Hulser anchored the Jugglers defense with 16 tackles.
