Cazenovia rolls to 31-6 win over CooperstownROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Cooperstown Redskins gave it their all, but in the end, the Lakers had their number. Cazenovia beat the unbeaten Redskins on Friday night 31-6 to advance to the Class C Final at the Carrier Dome on November 7th. The Lakers started out strong with two touchdown runs by Chad Dorrance to take a 14-0 lead. However, Cooperstown would battle back on an Alec Silvera touchdown. That cut the lead to 14-6 at the half. Caz re-established its dominance in the third, Justin Hoffman took the kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown. The Redskins could never recover. Cazenovia will face unbeaten General Brown at 11am next Saturday. Cooperstown finishes 8-1 overall. |
