Indians beat on wet, windy night

By MIKE LEVIN

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida Indians dropped their first game of the season Friday night, 19-0 at home to Cazenovia, on a rainy, windy night.  As the game began, the skies darkened and an ominous black cloud developed over the field.

These two Class B rivals have played each other in the last two postseasons, with Caz winning at the Carrier Dome in the 2010 Class B section final, and Oneida winning in the section semis last year.

Jake Wilson led the way for the Lakers, rushing for 174 yards and a passing touchdown on a halfback option in the second quarter.

Oneida, now 2-1, will head to VVS a week from Saturday.
