H.S. Football: Murphy delivers first win for Mohawk

MOHAWK, N.Y. (WKTV) - Senior QB Carson Muprhy was all over the field at Mohawk Friday night, as his 353 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns helped the Mohicans earn their first win of 2012, 42-13 over Cooperstown. 

Murphy had three TDs in the first half alone, all on the ground, then began the second half with a 75 yard kickoff return touchdown.  He followed that up with a 20 yard TD pass to McKenzie Reardon late in the half.

Both teams are now 1-3.  Mohawk heads to Holland Patent next Saturday, while Cooperstown visits Herkimer.
