H.S. Football:Dolgeville stays unbeaten with a win over Mohawk

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - After Dolgeville took a 14-12 halftime lead on Mohawk on Saturday, the storms came so officals postponed the second half until Monday. That's when the Blue Devils added a fourth quarter touchdown and held off the rival Mohicans 21-12.
Dolgeville got off to the early 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a touchdown pass from Reid Johnson to Alex Johnson and a Austin LaVeck touchdown run. LaVeck finished with 81 yards on the ground.
Mohawk came back in the second quarter on a 75 yard score from Zakk Zuranski and a 35 yard touchdown pass by Carson Murphy to Mike Santillo.
Both teams stalled through the third quarter once the game resumed on Monday but in the fourth, Jason Nastovski put the icing on the cake with a 14 yard touchdown run. Dolgeville improves to 2-0 with the win. Mohawk is now 0-2 on the season.
