Top 6 High School Football Plays of 2012

WKTV - Here are the top plays caught by our cameras during the 2012 high school football season.

#6 - The #1 Play of Week 6 - RFA hosting Auburn, rough year for the Black Knights, but Josh Reed provides a bright spot, racing 75 yards to the hole on a kickoff. 

#5 - The #1 Play of Week 4 - Cooperstown at Mohawk, Carson Murphy takes the second half kickoff, breaks through and is gone! 75 yards for the touchdown.

#4 - The #2 Play of Week 3 - West Canada Valley taking on Oriskany. Ryan Moody back to pass deep and connects with former NEWSChannel 2 Athlete of the Week Jack Minasi,  a 75 yard touchdown.

#3 - The #1 Play of Week 3 - Notre Dame and HP on a Monday.  Jordan Chroback takes the handoff, reverses field and then rumbles 80 yards for the touchdown.

#2 - Sectional Playoffs, Oneida vs. Chittenango in the Class B semis.  Dylan Cafalone, looks like he's stopped but stays on his feet and breaks away for an 89 yard touchdown.

#1 - The Top Play from Week 2 - Waterville hosting Sauquoit Valley, Jon Piersma throws up a prayer and somehow James Melvin is there for the catch and a lot more.  Melvin speeds his way up field and ends up taking it for a 92 yard touchdown.
