Girls Basketball:Lady Mounties win again!

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Someone forgot to tell the Little Falls girls they are not supposed to be here. Now they are just two games away from being called state champions after beating Elmira Notre Dame 67-55 in the Class C Regional final on Saturday.

They did so with their height and hustle. Jenna Becker, their lone senior and leader throughout the season, scored a game high 26 points and grabbed 22 rebounds. Couple that with great defense and a willingness to never quit and you have the recipie for a champion.

Hannah Becker added 15 points and Gen Schoff chipped in 12 for Little Falls. They improve to 18-5 overall and will next face Randolph from Section VI next Saturday at  12:30pm at HVCC in Troy.
