Lady Redskins fall to Fabius Pompey


ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Cooperstown's run at a section crown came to a hault on Thursday night with a 51-42 loss to Fabius Pompey.

The Lady Redskins were able to cut the lead to two points after three quarters of play but the Lady Falcons held them to just five points in the fourth quarter.

Cooperstown was led by Alexis Bloomfield's nine points while Holi Erkson and Meghan each scored eight points.

Fabius Pompey was led by Stevie Ray's 30 points. The Lady Falcons will face Weedsport in the C-2 final.
