H.S. Hockey: Whitesboro drops home game to AuburnWHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) -The Whitesboro hockey team continued to struggle in the 2011-12 season Friday night, falling to 0-3-1 after a 5-1 home loss to Division II foe Auburn. Tyler Garcia gave up four the five Maroon goals and was pulled after 22 minutes, making twelve saves. Joe Tartaglia played the final 23 minutes in net, giving up one goal and saving six shots. Jeffrey Gardner had sixteen saves in the Auburn net, playing 40 minutes. Brendan Entenmann finished the last five minutes, saving five shots, while giving up a goal to Kirk Chevrier. |
