Whitesboro boys lacrosse holds off Fulton

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro boys lacrosse team stayed over .500 on Thursday with a 12-11 victory over visiting Fulton.

After Whitesboro let a 5-4 halftime lead slip into a 6-6 tie in the third quarter, the Warriors opened up an 11-7 lead and hung on despite scoring only one goal in the fourth quarter while Fulton scored three.

Chris Gibbs had a hat trick for Whitesboro and Joey Schoen collected five points on two goals and three assists.  A.J. Desimone and Alex Rukavena also scored two goals each and goalie Dave Olney made 10 saves.

Whitesboro improves to 4-2 overall while Fulton drops to 2-3.
