NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford boys lacrosse team opened up their home schedule Monday with an 8-6 loss to Cortland. The Spartans didn't trail until late in the third quarter, during a run in which Cortland scored five straight goals.
Senior Kevin Chapman led the Spartans with two goals and an assist, while Nick Calogero added a goal and two assists.
New Hartford (0-2) will try again for the first win of the year Thursday at ES-M.
