WHITESBORO, N..Y (WKTV) - One local high school senior already has his future planned out and he's using his lacrosse stick as his guide.

Whitesboro senior Austin Curtis signed a letter of intent Wednesday to attend Jacksonville University in Florida, where he'll play lacrosse. They are giving him a $20,000 scholarship toward the $30,000 tuition annually.

Curtis already has his eye on the collegiate prize, "I want to make it to a national championship eventually," he said. "They just joined the new Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and if they win that they'll be in the tournament this year."

Curtis will be studying Aviation and Aviation Management.
