Whitesboro edges Clinton

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Whitesboro boys lacrosse team won their second game of the season Tuesday, edging out a 10-9 win at Clinton.  Ted Olney led the way with four goals and three assists for the visiting Warriors.

Phil Spirado added three goals and an assist, while Matt Felitto scored twice.  Whitesboro built a 6-1 lead in the second quarter, before the home Warriors rebounded to pull within one at halftime, then tie it in the third quarter.

Luke Tantillo stopped 15 shots in the Clinton net, while Pat Husner had five saves for Whitesboro.
