H.S. Hockey: New Hartford now 2-0 after win over Fulton

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford hockey team rolled to victory Saturday, 5-1 at the Rec Center over Fulton. Five different players scored for the Spartans, who are now 2-0 on the season.
Justin Rockwell and Garrett Mahoney scored in the first period to put the Spartans on top 2-0 at the first intermission. Alex Cooke and Christian Nimey then added goals in the second as New Hartford led 4-0. Pete Rayhill had the final goal in the third.
Mike Cuchiarale had 16 saves in net for the Spartans and in his first two games has a total of 37.
New Hartford will next play rival Whitesboro, Wednesday at 7:30 from the Rec Center.
